Okay, so I had promised to start a weekly blog… My objective for this blog is to keep you posted about my weekly activities in a very casual and hopefully fun way :) I plan to keep these posts short and include a video called “My week in 45 seconds” which will give you a visual impression of my week and a feel for the people around J&J I am spending time with. For now, I’ll send these blog posts to you via email, but once we launch our TA group on SPARK they will be posted there. This will enable you to comment on my blog and will hopefully spark some discussion. So are you ready? Here we go!

I am going to cheat a little for my first blog post because two weeks ago I spent the week in Mexico for our TA leadership team meeting in LATAM, and I had too good of a trip not to share it with you. Before I tell you what we did, check out my week in 45 seconds.

Apart from plenty of team building and getting to know each other better, we had a very productive time understanding the challenges of the region, we discussed succession planning and we had a number of interactive brainstorming sessions about social media, employer branding and strategic sourcing. Anna Kuusinen also dropped by to show her newborn baby, Alma, to us (that’s the baby in the video). She will re-join the team on June 6th which we all look forward to.

The two main takeaways from the week for me were:

	We have a great team in the region with lots of energy, passion and drive to take TA to the next level. As we think about what’s next, we need to keep the millennial generation at the heart of any new solutions and initiatives. They represent more than 70% of our joiners in the region.
	As you can see from the video, Adam Luther is a passionate Latin dancer :) Next time you see Adam in Johnson Hall or anywhere else in the world, feel free to ask him to show off some of his moves. He won’t disappoint, trust me!
